Big wheels keep on turning

8 Dec, 2015

London-listed, attractions-based Challenger Acquisitions has announced its successful acquisition of the Starneth Group, the Dutch business which specialises in the design and engineering of giant observation wheels and structures.

In addition to the acquisition, the company has invested $3 million for a 2.463% interest in the 630-foot New York wheel project. Following the acquisition and investment, Challenger has readmitted its shares to trading on the Standard List of the London Stock Exchange.

Leading national audit, tax and advisory firm Crowe Clark Whitehill acted as reporting accountants to the transaction. Our capital markets team was led by Paul Blythe.

Once again, the team at Crowe Clark Whitehill has ‎been extremely supportive and proactive during this challenging transaction. We look forward to working with them as we build our company and would definitely recommend them to other growing international companies.
— Mark Gustafson, Executive Chairman, Challenger Acquisitions
Following Challenger’s admission to the Standard List in February 2015, we were delighted to again assist the company on this transformational acquisition. We look forward to continuing to work with the team on Challenger’s ongoing journey.
